XCMG Spare Parts Buying Guide: How to Order the Right Part Every Time
Ordering the wrong XCMG part wastes weeks and money. This guide walks through the few details you need before you buy — so the part that arrives actually fits your machine.
1. Start with the machine model, not the part name
"Hydraulic pump for a 20-ton excavator" is not enough. XCMG makes dozens of excavator families (XE, XE2, etc.) and the same component name maps to different part numbers across them. Always note the exact model plate: for example XE215CA, QY25K5, or LW500KN.
2. Find the part number
The fastest way is our free XCMG parts lookup tool. Enter the model and a keyword (e.g. "seal kit", "filter", "bucket pin") and it returns the matching part codes with exploded diagrams. If you already have the code from a parts book, jump straight to a catalog search.
- Part code (e.g.
803440490) — the single most reliable identifier. - Model + component — use when you only have the old broken part.
- Exploded diagram — confirm position and quantity before ordering.
3. Genuine vs. aftermarket
Genuine XCMG parts are engineered to the original tolerance and backed by the bill of materials. For structural, hydraulic and safety items we recommend genuine. For consumables (filters, grease, some fasteners) a qualified aftermarket option can save cost — but always match the spec.
4. Get a firm quote
Prices vary with configuration and stock. Use the lookup tool to request a quote, or list your part codes on TIHPARTS for worldwide shipping. Include the model, serial (if available) and quantity so the quote is accurate.
5. Double-check before you pay
- Confirm the part code matches your model in the diagram.
- Confirm quantity and unit (some kits contain left/right pairs).
- Confirm lead time and shipping terms for your country.
Following these steps turns a risky guess into a repeatable ordering process — and keeps your XCMG machine running.
